Getting to see my brother!

This weekend I was able to drive down to Arkansas to visit my 6 year old brother, who I haven't seen since May. It's amazing that everytime I go see him he's gotten bigger and smarter. While down there, I got to see him play his first football game, which he won! It was really exciting to see him get so happy that he was able to play. We also took him to a car show, which he enjoyed a great deal getting to see all the "old timer cars". A funny thing happened as well, I took him to Autozone and he was a little bummed that there were no toys there. I said, "One day, child, this will be your toy store." The look he gave me was priceless, as if he couldn't understand what the hell I was talking about. We went to Burger King and he played extremely hard, but once we got back to the house, he refused to take a nap since he was so wound up with energy. Overall, it was an awesome weekend to remember.

  1. I know exactly how that all feels. I have a five year old sister who lives in Florida with my dad and step-mom. I do not get to see her often, but when I do, I love to spoil her. Just like you, I adore spending quality time with my younger sibling. It’s weird to be so much older than her, but you get used to it after a while. Hopefully you get to spend many more wonderful weekends with your little brother!
