OK so my man and I have been together for 11 months and i'd trust him with my life. But is it normal that it bothers the hell out of me that his best friend is a girl? She's absolutley beautiful which makes it that much worse, if she were ugly I would be much happier but she is not. I am not worried about him cheating, I guess it is just a "thing" I have. Normally, I am not a jealous person, but somehow this situation is different. I guess maybe since she knows him so much better and has known him for alot longer (they have been friends for 8 years) I feel intimidated. So should I talk to him about it or should I just suck it up and deal with it? I do not want to make him feel like he has to choose between her and I, that would be stupid. I have never had a chance to officially meet her but I have seen her in person a couple times, and she seems decent. If I were to talk to him, how would I bring it up? I don't mean to sound all Oprah-ish, but people I know can't give me much advice, so I figured maybe complete strangers could give something refreshing.

A different kind of music blog..
Yet another music blog, but this one is much different and quite a bit more cool! I've known about this for a few years now, and i'm sure a few of you may know about it as well. If you listen to some popular songs backwards there are apparently subliminmal messages in them. The most striking one in my opinion is Led Zeppelin's "Stairway to Heaven. If you go to this website, there are a number of songs in which people with less of a life than me have found songs, and backmasked them. Whether or not these are real is still up for debate. I'm not real sure where I stand on this, but either way, I think it's pretty freakin epic. Another song that makes me say, "Whoa" is the Kiss, Kiss, Kiss song by Yoko Ono. I find it a little creepy and a little disturbing, but neat. So have a listen and let me know what you think! http://jeffmilner.com/backmasking.htm

Getting to see my brother!
This weekend I was able to drive down to Arkansas to visit my 6 year old brother, who I haven't seen since May. It's amazing that everytime I go see him he's gotten bigger and smarter. While down there, I got to see him play his first football game, which he won! It was really exciting to see him get so happy that he was able to play. We also took him to a car show, which he enjoyed a great deal getting to see all the "old timer cars". A funny thing happened as well, I took him to Autozone and he was a little bummed that there were no toys there. I said, "One day, child, this will be your toy store." The look he gave me was priceless, as if he couldn't understand what the hell I was talking about. We went to Burger King and he played extremely hard, but once we got back to the house, he refused to take a nap since he was so wound up with energy. Overall, it was an awesome weekend to remember.

Music
Yesterday, I heard a song I hadn't heard since I was younger. It's called "Semi-Charmed Kind of Life" by Third Eye Blind. Since I hadn't heard it since I was little I had never understood what the song was about. Hearing it again I decided to read the lyrics while listening to the song. Oh mylanta it was about being addicted to crystal meth. I was in utter shock that such an upbeat song could be about something so very dark. It made me wonder what other songs had secret dark meanings yet sounded so happy. Crazy stuff, huh? I don't currently have any other examples but later on I shall certainly try!
